Three Applicants Approved for ICBR Open Research Fund Programme 2006
To promote international cooperation and exchange on R & D on bamboo and rattan (BR) between China and other INBAR member countries, ICBR has decided to grant the 2006 Key Open Laboratory Open Fund to the following 3 applicants : Michael Kwaku and Stephen Lartey Tekpetey from Ghana, and Roshani Manandhar from Nepal. They are selected by ICBR/INBAR Selection Panel through reviewing of all applications with regard to their research fields and the relevance to ICBR’s mission and objectives, and approved by the Academic Committee of the ICBR Key Open Laboratory.
We are very pleased to see the enthusiastic response to our Open Research Fund Programme from researchers all over the world and feel sorry that we have to turn down some excellent applicants due to our limited resources. We wish to create more opportunities for this programme in the following years and certainly need your continued support and attention.
Thank you all and wish you good luck next year.
