On August 30, the "2019 ASEAN Countries Tropical Flower Garden Landscape Training Course" sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, undertaken by ICBR and co-organized by the China Flower Association officially opened in Beijing. 11 government officials, enterprise managers and head of institutions engaged in flowers, gardening, flower planting, arboriculture, plant maintenance and management from Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia began a 14-day seminar in Beijing, with a series of discussion and exchange on the topic of tropical flower garden landscape.

 

In the 14-day seminar, trainees will participate in special lectures, teaching training, field trips, on-site teaching and cultural experience, etc. They will also be invited to participate in the 2019 World Flower Conference and visit the Beijing Expo, during which time they will learn about the design and construction of the four famous gardens in China, the landscaping techniques of Chinese Jiangnan gardens, and the classical garden architecture.

 

This seminar will further strengthen trade, technical and cultural exchanges between China and ASEAN countries in the field of flower and horticulture. After returning to their countries, the trainees can help further deepen the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and make positive contributions to building a close China-ASEAN community with a shared future and making it a model of Asian community with a shared future.
