Dr. Guo Xuefeng is a professor and master supervisor at the International Centre for Bamboo and Rattan (ICBR), China. His research interests include qualitative study of the extraction of flavonoids in bamboo leaves using mass spectrometry, the C-glycosylation pathway and C-glucosyltransferase of C-glycosyl flavonoids from bamboo leaves, cloning of flavonoid-C-glycosyltransferase genes and identification in PHyllostachys edulis.

Dr. Guo received his Ph.D. in chemical processing and engineering of forest products from the Chinese Academy of Forestry (CAF) in 2007. Subsequently he worked at ICBR as an assistant research professor. He has received multiple academic grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China, State Forestry Administration, etc.
