The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019, Beijing, China (Expo 2019) officially opened its park on April 29th, 2019. In attendance were representatives from participating countries and international organizations, relevant departments and agencies of NFGA, CCPIT, Beijing Municipality and other participating provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Taiwan and people involved in the design and construction of the park.

 

As the gates opened, guests began their tour of the park, while Expo 2019 welcomed the first group of visitors. The guests climbed up the Yongning Pavilion observation platform to look over the beautiful and colourful panorama of the park. At several attractions and venues in the park, a series of festive, joyful and exciting performances were staged for the guests and visitors. Visitors enjoyed the joy of harmony between man and nature and posed and took photos in front of attractions.

 

The Expo 2019, located in Yanqing District, Beijing, will be open for 162 days, from April 29th to October 7th. Among all the exhibitions hosted by China, this is the one of the highest level and largest scale, following the 1999 International Horticultural Expo in Kunming, the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai and the 2018 China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
